Question by Dylan: Anyone know where i can find some old gaelic art designs and images of gaelic gods?
Looking to get some gaelic tattoos and i cant seem to find many good examples of old art, images of gods/goddesses. Just need some examples so i can put together my own ideas.
not looking for typical things like shamrocks and such

I am looking for a Celtic knot-work ram to go on the inside of my calf for a tattoo. I have looked using various image search engines and cannot find anything at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You’re probably going to have to get a few images for inspiration, and combine them. Give them to a competent tattoo artist and tell then exactly what you want. Then they’ll draw up a design for your approval.

A lot of the celtic knot tattoos with a beast that I’ve seen are dragons. You could substitute a ram in its place

Question by Samantha H: Anyone with a tattoo older than 5 years – do you regret getting it?
I’m thinking about getting one but I’m really worried about regretting it, because if I get one, I don’t want to get one thinking that I’m going to get it removed in 10 years. I’ve got a customed made motive and everything and really happy with it. But how much to you regret yours?

designs such as Celtic Knots, Tribal designs, and Zentangles.
I want to spend some time being creative and drawing but drawing things like people and objects are starting to get boring. The three i have mentioned i have already done them and i want to try something new now.

I am writing a book about 5 poeple (17 – 25 yrs old) with special powers.
Every character is a representative of an Ancient Civilization.
I have Greek, Egyptian, Chinese, Hindu and Norse or Celt.
I want each person to have a symbol from his/her culture.

I already found symbols about Greece & Egypt but i have no idea about the others.

Symbols of good or in general symbols that mean something but no bad symbols.

Question by Luna: Does anyone know any Celtic symbols for wisdom/knowledge?
I am wondering if there are other Celtic symbols for wisdom or knowledge other than the salmon?

I am doing some studying abroad in Ireland and I would like to get a tattoo of a Celtic knowledge symbol before I leave, to remember my time and experience.

What kind of symbols are ‘Celtic’ symbols? Post some pics and I might be able to help you. I don’t know of any reliable websites off hand that deal the Celtic symbolism, much of what is out there is gobbledy gook from people who do a little bit of research and come up with their own ideas and post it.

I am a Celtic Pagan and have Druid friends, and I might be able to help.
